Bicho do Mato is personality and it's beer. Personality of the chief Ljubomir Stanisic and created in partnership with Cerveja Letra.
This new drink from Yugoslav-plus-Portuguese-of-always is 100% natural but also 100% special. Spiced, but also tempered with the head, trunk and members of the enfant terrible of Portuguese gastronomy, which to the abecedary of malts and hops joined its ras-el-hanout (a spice that is a mixture of many other, of Moroccan origin). With a label by Hélio Falcão, it is a full-bodied, robust, balanced and even unusual beer with citric and tropical aroma. It is Ljubo taken to the Letter - hard to gnaw, but easy to drink.
The beer was presented in Santa Margarida da Serra, in Grândola, on the "Festa da Serra" on January 6, 2019. Ljubo, transformed the usual annual snack offered to its inhabitants, at a banquet for about 200 people. The community got involved with the goal of raising funds for the recovery of the parish church and collecting food and clothing to support the poorest people, and many contributed ingredients and work for this solidarity. From pumpkins to bread, from goats to potatoes, from bifanas to chicken, the party was made for everyone, with the voluntary participation of friends and cooks, such as the chief Hugo Nascimento, from the group Quina (Tasca, Peixaria and Padaria da Esquina), and part of the 100 Maneiras kitchen team.
Bicho do Mato can be tasted in the two bars of the Letra (Porto and Vila Verde), in the restaurant 100 Maneiras and soon, in several points of sale of beer in the country.
